A few months back Trooper Lu’s at Moorebank did mine for $16200 ride away. If you get to Sydney much it might be worthwhile checking them out.

Have to wonder why a dealer would sell at a reduced price in the current market ...

Yes but it is a very selective market, its not increased sales of all bikes - just small dirt bikes.
Tenere sales will probably be like most new models these days, a big surge at first release then sales collapse

With mine I suspect that the impending doom of COVID lockdown may have made them keen to clear a bit of stock. At the time no one was too sure what was going to happen.

They still have to move them on before it starts costing them to have them sit on the floor.

Two mates just bought a blue and black T700 each. To complement their WR450s. Another acquaintance also bought a T7 to replace his 1200 Super Tenere. While he was picking it up they sold FOUR.

Sales data will be the ultimate arbiter

But the above doesn't seem to be true - at least not here in the ACT region

There are now 3 new T7s, and 2 KTM 790Rs, in the local FB group

    Not a huge group ...

Also some new KLRs and DRs

Seems like everyone is buying bikes ....

Fitted some Pirelli scorpion rallys today.
After 50k's of looking at the roost in the mirror I'm not sure how long they will last. IMG_20200913_142707.jpg IMG_20200913_151134.jpg IMG_20200913_164351.jpg

I was in Trooper Lu’s today and noticed that the T7 floor price had increased by $150.00 from when I bought mine. Now $17,299,00 for 10/19 compliance plate same as mine.
I didn’t enquire as to how much they are prepared to knock off the floor price,

Is that pic going up Mt Mee.?

did you happen to be on Mount Brisbane Road out from Dayboro yesterday, just after lunch.
I waved at someone on a red T7 as I was coming back from a ride on the dirt up there on my DR.
I’ll wave at anyone when I’m on the DR. Even guys on T7’s. :lol3
