I got one for my XMax as well.
Don't know if I could be bothered with the nearest dealer over an hour away, not like it's a safety issue.

Going on a month later and strangely enough I was in there a couple of days ago and there are still 3 in there. Whether they are the same 3 who knows?! That and about 8 used bikes out the front.

Well as they say "You only get what you pay for"...they had to keep the costs down somehow to ensure the sales numbers..

These days so many riders do absolutely zilch to their bikes, no chain maintenance, no tyre pressures, tyres done by dealer, all maintenance done by dealer - why do you need a centre stand.

You could turn that around and say you get what you ask for, why would I want to pay for a centre stand I don’t want ?

its not like I have to fix oil and coolant leaks

Gawd fcuk me that's one ugly monstrosity of a bash plate...

The Swedish in the video guy is all gushing with superlatives about it's appearance... wtf...????!!! :scratch (I guess he forked out the dough for it... so it's good that he is happy I suppose? :dunno)... but it looks like a gun turret vent off a WWII German tank.

    Engine case protection? Yeah evidently.

Airflow around the engine though? (overheating?).

Maybe it's not a big consideration here in Sweden (even at summer it does not often top 30 degrees C)... but personally (aside from the looks) - I don't think I'd put that on a bike I was going to take to the outback and ride for prolonged periods of time in the desert heat... :knary

    Yep.
He wonders whether or not he will get small stones through the venting. He will get %ucking house bricks.:imaposer

    Good analogy there to Troy.
    Same.

Whilst not the most extreme test of suspension I think most of us have seen, it is a good add for the fact that even if you don't "need" upgraded, sorted or better suspension , it just feels better, nicer and more confidence inspiring.

Almost ran out of fuel yesterday ( i think )
Had done a tad over 250k of mostly dirt , a few hundred metres from the servo she started spluttering and almost stalled.
    Anyway only got 13.6 into
Didnt think it would splutter like that with 2.4 ltr still in the tank .
Also my mate on the same bike who filled at same time is me only put 11.5 in . We must have a different riding style

:nod ^^^THAT^^^ is precisely the type of vehicle that I had in mind, when I wrote that comment.

GP Mucci is the same outfit that created this T7 (the terminator); :johntm :deal

... and while it is fair to say that it looked better once they slapped some paint and decals on it...

I've been over the GP Mucci web site a few times, and I have to confess - that personally - most of the creations that come out of their fabrication shop, look like the work of weekend warriors or work experience students... not professionally designed and manufactured commercial products.

I guess that's what the words "custom" and "exclusive" translate into, from Italian...? :dunno Well - at least the price tag is... :1drink
