I guess I made that one too easy. The pre-75 Sportsters had a right side shifter which is perfect for flat track. I've already got conventional forks and a 19" front rim on the way.

Back in the good old days, on Brit bikes, we would use silk thread on the primary with no gasket. I would stop the most stubborn oil leaks.
