I might have the next couple of weeks off. Truck is in the shop getting a inframe done and jetboat is not ready yet so I might be up for a day or two if you want some company.

It would be great to have company. My only idea so far is eastern Oregon, mostly pavement.
Though at one time I had wanted to see Tuscarora Nevada in the spring.

I still have about 2 days of work in Pierce before I have fun, so a week from today or tomorrow for a start. Maybe a smaller 2 day loop that gets us back close to home and then I could keep going, or go home too.

Eastern Oregon is fun... improved gravel will get you through Steens, the round barn, down to the Alford Desert, and Antelope Preserve...

Did you come in from the north or south on the Mountain Rd. your way to Misery? We rode up Smoothing Iron two weeks ago and just a 100 yards north of the junction with the Mountain Rd there was a snow drift that no one had gotten thru. I might try to get down the Grouse Flats Rd this Weds. or Thursday. I know of one snow drift on Grouse Flats that is always slow to melt off.

That looks like the same spot where sorebutt and I passed through a few years back. I got stuck first in the snow and when I put a foot down it went in a hole and over I went with my bike. Next sorebutt got stuck and while I was pushing his bike he fell over and then he accused me of pushing him over. It's all fun and games and no one got hurt. I got a photo before we got his bike upright. 20160407_151909.jpg

It's nice seeing things come up to go to. I'll be there and hope you will be too.

Along with Oldschool's event my Triple BBB (Beater Biker Bonznaza) in John Day, OR is still happening. Non-beaters are very welcome and encouraged to show up. The link is in my sig line. It would be nice to see a few of you show up.
