    Fellow ADVs,
I spent the weekend trying to find some fun roads around the Pampanga area and Neuva Escocia; And despite there being some nice views - the roads were straight, and totally choked with traffic. We left home at 0530 - so getting up earlier is not going to help.

Can anyone suggest some areas ?

    Thanks

    Tim

Pampanga is still way south of the better roads. They don't start until San Jose to the west and 25 miles south of Bagiuo to the north. But once you hit them they are all over. Just look at any map, maraming bituka ng manok roads. Zoom in and look for the squiggly/zig zag lines.

And 5:30 am is not early. Last month driving to the mountain provinces I left Cavite at 2am to avoid heavy traffic. Still plenty even at that hour but at least was moving and not jammed up.

Great rides going out to Baler and La Union North, well worth checking out. Be sure to check out Discalarin cove if you get out to Baler, great ride out to that beach and it's a pretty one.

If you want head south hook East towards Rizal/Quezon province from Manila and head out towards Borawan, Cagbalete island, Polillo island, etc. Anything in that direction you get some nice windy roads and great views.
