Who are we? A few local riders who do day rides of 200 miles plus or minus. A mom and pop lunch somewhere in the middle with good conversation. We ride about twice a month as a group, notified by email, generally leaving from the Southport Tom Thumb. We range in age, mostly 40 to 70, but all ages have ridden with us, even the younger guns. A few retired military, active, local business guys, contractors, and just about everything in between. We ride about everything, just dependent on who shows on that day. Generally, BMW RT, GSA, V-Strom, sport bikes, Harley's, and a few other cruisers. Our style is mixed, quicker riders up front, waiting on everyone before turning on a route change. We primarily ride county roads (paved), only using US98, 331, 231, and I10 for short periods. A rider skill set is preferred, but will entertain new riders. We usually do at least two longer trips a year (4-5 days) to the Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee Mountains (just retuned last Sunday) and every few years out to the Colorado area. So, if you're interested in riding with a diverse group of riders, PM your email with a name and what you ride. I'll add you to our email distribution list and you'll be notified for our next ride!
