Rip-roaring good time, fellas! It’s always fun hanging with the Usual Suspects, and I enjoyed meeting some new faces too. As for the food...well, Tomcat came through once again with some of the finest smoked meat in the land, the kinda stuff that made North Carolina famous for BBQ. Including some mighty tasty “turkey dick” that gave me a whole new perspective on the old eat a bowl of dicks insult.:lol3

I tell y’all what, once you’ve had turkey fresh outta the smoker, ya won’t ever want an oven-baked turkey again, ya think I’m lyin? I ain’t lyin!

The weather made for great riding Friday & Saturday, and with nighttime lows around 60, sleeping in a hammock was mighty fine. I didn’t experience or hear about any breakdowns, tickets, or ambulance rides. The Kraken got released along with Mr. Cuervo, plus a fair amount of wikky; there was a good bit of hamming it up but I’m happy to report no graves were ridden upon or otherwise desecrated. There was one unverified rumor of a wheelie, but Swampy was nowhere to be seen so I reckon everybody gets to hang on to their DDS memberships. Stories got tolded, seegars got smoked, no loud gennies stayed on long enough to get the dickbeater treatment, one new trials bike got a good workout...WITNESS!:D

I think we oughta do it again, I most surely do:clap

    AARP HOP REPORT:

Bluepill and SR56 were actually smart enough to call it quits after about 50 miles of medium burn riding. This wise decision meant that no CODE BLUE had to be called for the Coronary Twins, leaving the younger and healthier attendees to continue with their usual Gazonnie Rituals, as noted above.

Great to see everyone again! Also good to see some new faces. Had a pretty good ride Friday until Jon's bike decided to say F this chain. :lol3

Hope to see some of you guys back at Perry Mt in a couple weeks. :ricky I'll probably do a bit more riding up there than I did at Blackwater.

Great food and great drinks, thanks going out to @DoubleJump for the deer sausage etc. :dukegirl

Everyone else, (can't possibly remember everyone), I really enjoyed your company. Can't wait to do it again!
