Congrats Pat, I can't remember following the Dakar so closely before, watching everyday to see if you made it in.

THANK YOU FOR ALL,,,, I am back in Canada.. What a race. You guys were with me. It is the first time I do experience this kind of support!
I did it... Finnaly, I wish anybody to experience this kind of satisfaction of going thru a dream and realize it!
Now my next challenge is to put my last 12 years riding experience in pursuit of the Dakar on paper and make a book. I needed a conclusion, i waited patiently for this conclusion but now I have it!
Thanks again for all of you!!!!
Hope to see some of you in either Quebec, Montreal or Moncton. Thanks to the powerhouse and Honda Canada to have contributed to realize that dream. Thanks to the 5 powerhouses (2 ontario; Kanata, Brockville, and the 3 Powerhouse of Newfoundland, Simmons, Clarenville and Honda One) Thanks also to all Powerhouse of quebec (except Excel and Frank and Michel).
Thanks to SHR and Leatt Brace that saved my life on that crash, Bell helmet,OGIO, AXO,Inside Motorcycle and Twice Graphic.
But most of all thanks to all my friends and those on this Forum!!

Being able to have some connection with your ride and also being able to follow along on the internet (and this web site!) has made the Dakar a real blast to watch. The fact that it's been -30 in Manitoba didn't hurt either!
Any chance your book will be in English for us unilingual fools?

I rode a coupla sections of the dualsport ride with Patrick on Sunday. He was not riding the rallye bike, but instead was on a Honda Veradero. This guy was riding that thing like it was a 250. Incredible! :ricky

It was such a treat meeting him and listening to his stories of the Dakar...and the Baja Mil.

    Can't wait for the book.....
