hey Patrick, you even sound in good spirits over the internet. Be strong, keep the faith we're rooting for you.
Ah the WildDogs Thank you for checking on Patrick.
Good luck for tomorrows ops Patrick, I will be in meetings all day and fly north to a construction site thursday so maybe the weekend before I make it to visit. Strongs man.

Yeah, all these holidays confused me, I remember the 5th but also Wednesday, good luck anyway
Maybe I'll be able to stop in and see you late May on my way through
I saw Patrick this morning, he has had his second (and last) operation and has some pain, (he mentioned it to the Doc while I was there, the Doc replied "like hello, you did have an operation you know?").
So he is looking good, can sit on the bed today and all things operate although with some effort. So he is still hoping to get on a flight at the end of the week.. not sure if he will make that, but lets see how he goes.
Good stuff, thanks for keeping us up to date
Thanks Welshman for the visits and updates.
It's really amazing that Patrick can even consider flying so soon after such a wreck. With all the carpentry work he's had done and those screws/pins/plates I'm sure he'll have fun at airport security from now on...
He posted on his facebook that he's now sporting over 50 screws:huh
and plates to go with I'm sure
He is at about 60 screws, but it adds up, he had 4 breaks in the forearm so there are 36 in there and one finger has 6 on its own
His current mission, is talking his surgeon into getting his own bike
so good to hear he's back up to his usual antics
:eek1that is a lot of screws
does the XR even have that many bolts?
good to hear he is in good spirits
Y'all thought I was screwy.
Patrick, you've got me totally beat. Glad to hear your spirits are good. You'll be home soon.
That's one tough Canuck
