PDX Off Pavement Ride

I can't ride this weekend, but the weekend right before Xmas, assuming its not horribly crappy out, I'll probably ride the OHV bike....so if anyone is up for goat trails and bursting lungs...let me know.

Interested.... If I can. Got an idea if you'd choose Sat or Sun? Weather dependant might be the smart way. If that's relevant. :)

Anyone here ride trials in the tillamook forest area? Got my first trials bike a few weeks ago and looking for someone to ride with.

Hmmm...i might be interested as well...are we going to get the old gang back together again?

Any trail ride with Luke seems to turn into a trials ride.

@Luke and @Whodatschrome I am game for a ride this upcoming weekend. I don't have a preference to what day. Weather conditions aren't much of a factor for me.

I just realized that I probably shouldn’t ride just yet. I jammed my finger when I was at the LAB2V ride a month ago. Doc says it’s a sprain, but I’m betting a MRI would say different. Since I do construction, I’m guessing that the 20 additional jammings that happen every single day isn’t helping.

Then again, maybe I’ll have a Christmas miracle, and finger will be healed? But if there was a day that I could go, Saturday would have to be the day. This Sunday I’m going to the “other” church that doesn’t involve dirtbikes.

Good time of year to heal up for better riding. I'm on the mend for another few weeks too it would appear. On the other hand, the days will only get longer after Saturday!

Notice how Luke never responed to my comment? It just proves my point. But maybe Luke is just dyslexic and can't differentiate between trails and trials?...it's all the same thing to him.

Rode TSF day before Christmas. Browns Camp area.

Weather cooperated, rained on the way out but no precipitation while we were riding. There are a lot of puddles. Big puddles that will get your feet wet. There's mud in the low spots, but it's not too bad. Carry speed or just putt through. Overall, I'd say good conditions.

"good conditions" are easy for our kind.
...pretty much anything above freezing and not raining cats & dogs.
Even light snow is OK.

True adveturers are easy to please.

I rode Pinemont on Sunday morning. It was awesome in the snow.

Last year I did the black dog for the first time. Are there any other navigation rallies like this in the northwest? I intend to do the Black Dog again this year and would love to do more of these.

I also would love to do nav rallies. They did Colorado in 17 and Julian, CA in 18. I'd travel tor that one in 19.

Mt Scott MC club does a few as well.
