Looks like nobody wants to go so I guess I won't go either too cold
Looks like nobody wants to go it's too cold so I guess I won't go either. oh well
I was thinking of joining you. Lmk if you still wanna go.
I showed a Co buddy around Tilly today. I should start checking this thread!
Heading out to Roger's on the old bikes.
TC125 and F7
Stay warm everyone.
Dangit! Wish I’d seen this yesterday, I’d have been there. Chelatchie looks like fun. I was just up around Yacolt goofing around on the dirt roads north of Washougal a week or so ago, had a great time.
I don't know where that sign is, but I want to ride there.
I am guessing its got to be the trail that literally heads down into a steep ass ravine then dead ends. If correct last time I was there years ago, there was a generous amount of fenders and plastic strewn about.
We rode Jordan creek today, perfect out, got views of Rainer and saw a bobcat book up the trail before disappearing into the ferns.
The forecast for Sunday, 11/1, is sunny, with a high of 60. Anyone interested in a GP ride? Chelatcie Prairie, east of Amboy. The route includes some pavement but mostly old gravel roads. The route is quite scenic. There are some rough, narrow sections of road with big puddles. The loop is about 80 miles. Meet at the Chelatcie Prairie Store at 9:45. Kickstands up at 10:00.
Poop, I too need to check this thread more-I would have gone with you-Looks like a great ride!
Rain rain rain, I don’t care about the cold just ride harder to stay warm. The snot slick clay, roots, and mountains of mud on the other hand that kinda kills it. Most of the trails I frequent are orange soil and just a good morning dew makes little hills impossible.
Oh for a few dry days before a day off.
What trails you like? I've been riding TSF in the rain, it's still decent.
New bike. Must ride. Aaaaaaarrrrgh.
Jordon Creek Saturday, anyone? The weather looks decent for Saturday. My regular riding friends won't go because it is too cold for them. Thinking of riding the roads and maybe some easy trail. There is a parking lot in a ways, across the creek and to the left. 9:00 am. Anyone?
Work beckons Saturday
So looks like I will be pulling the trigger on a 250XC this week and would LOVE to learn the trail system at the coast range. I will keep an eye on this thread but let me know if anyone is heading up there. Will be great to be able to trail ride again!
I received an email from Mt Scott Motorcycle Club for a trail work day in Tillamook. Meet tomorrow at the North Plains Chevron at 830am.
I'm not affiliated with the club, merely I want to get our beloved riding area as much help as it can get. I suspect there will be some riding after. If you're not otherwise engaged; see you out there?
I think the work day is Sunday the 28th. actually I'm sure of it because I'm working closely with the folks setting it up and I'm planning on being there.
You are correct. Clearly, I can’t comprehend the email. Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!!
I’m in the middle of two weeks off from work so I can work even harder on the property. It’s time for a break and some Moto therapy. I’m thinking Wednesday. Anybody have weekdays off and want to join? Snow levels are still low but there’s good bad roads out there somewhere!
