and I'm just bustin balls in the name of good fun. I do ride a lot of miles throughout the year, but not that many of them are for pleasure. I use my bike as my primary commuter to the tune of 120 miles per day. Kinda takes a lot of fun out of riding........by the weekends I rarely even want to see my bike, let alone ride it the whole way across the state. I took the GF for a nice 200 mile ride this morning, that was really the first pleasure ride I've done since I headed for NC back in April.

Woke up this morning to get this new tag. Left the house at 8:30 am and did not get back until after 3:00 pm, so you just know it has to be a good ride...

    ...well, not so much.

But, in the interest of keeping the game moving, I did drop the tag. To get to this fine drinking establishment, follow the twisty road north outta Carlisle whose route numbers add up to 11. When you are turning hard right, keep an eye to the left.

No worries though, I will get it back sometime, and when I do, the tag will go to the place I was trying to get it today. It will be a nice one.

Nowhere near enough...11k...I am going to see if they will warranty it, and set my belt replace schedule at about 10k.

The Buells usually don't strip teeth. These belts really are prety damn tough, but I am a big guy with a heavy wrist. The new belts made for the 1125R are stronger, and they fit all XB's. Those should last a bit longer.

I'll try to post a new tag later today or tomorrow at the latest... it will be somewhere in Centre County - near State College. Food will be the theme, so you may want to consider the new tag as a destination for some grub. :dg

That would be the North Mountain Inn. Sounds fancy, but like I said.... :eek1 .

It smelled like burning plastic when I was there. I don't if the smell was coming from the fryer or from the neighbors, but either way, I decided not to stay for lunch. :lol3

The ride down was great, though! Rte. 74 was a blast!

Yeah, it is the North Mountain Inn. I did not try the food, but the beer was cold and the folks were friendly. Yes, it is very much a biker type bar, which means something of a hole in the wall. My kind of place.

Notice the scooter...same one was there Saturday. :lol3

Okay, here it is. I know I didn't go too far from home on this one, but if you stay for lunch/dinner you'll be thanking me! My recommendation:

    App:
Wings (mango habenero, garlic and huricane mary sauces are all good)!

    Sandwich:
Smoked Chicken Sandwich w/seasoned fries (this thing rocks! smoked chix breast, cheddar, bacon, pineapple bbq sauce, cole slaw on a kaiser roll ).

    Beer:
This combo pairs well with the Aurthurs Bitter (cask conditioned) or the Saison... or any other beer for that matter! :lol3 Also, they have junior sizes if you don't have a lot of time to hang out.

    Enjoy!

The idea is for those not familiar with area to be able to do a little reasearch/googling to find it.

I just ate lunch there yesterday and had the bike parked about 20 feet from where that pic was taken.

Clues!? Man, didn't you watch Scooby Doo when you were a kid?? :lol3

Okay, seriously... here's a couple for ya:

    1. I live in state college, and this place is close to my home.

    2. It is one of only two breweries in centre county (which is a damn shame IMHO!).
