What did you use to attach the clamp to the ktm/touratech GPS mount?
Is it pretty solid, or would I be better just mounting a RAM ball above the meter?

The Perfect Squeeze clamped up nice and tight. Solid as a rock.
A little video from a quick little ride around the neighborhood.

    Hello,
When will these be shipping out? I placed an order the 15th I think.

    Thanks!

Did you get a chance to try the low profile mount with the funky 9x0 handlebar clamp?

I did not. I have the Scotts, so that funky mount is on a shelf.
I'd think it would fit fine given the mount is a clamp so doesn't care that the back diameter is different from the front.

Machining the first batch of 100 as I type this (the joys of robots, gettin' work done and surfing ADV), so I expect we'll begin shipping at the end of this week.

I tested this on a bike at a nearby dealership that had that one-piece underside, and it does clamp. I didn't get to ride the bike or really crank on it as I didn't want to mar up a bike that wasn't mine, but it seemed to be pretty solid.

The only job worthy of her, it seems, is to bark at other dogs that come on to the property, and get really excited whenever the UPS guy shows up.

Our Brown Santa just brought steaks all the way from New Braska. She might be on to something.

This is awesome! Used one of the Super cheap mounts sold by rever and giantloop. Piece of junk compared to this and decently close in price.
Way to step up the game!

how thick of a phone can it handle? My 5s has a incredibly thick otterbox, I'd say the whole deal is close to 3/4" thick

The rubber part of the gripper post is .725" tall. If that ends up being too short we can make longer ones for you, as our goal is any phone, any case.

Last question (maybe): is it available with both the clamp and the RAM ball?
(or is the RAM ball a readily available standard part? which size base?)

I've just added the individual mounting components to the store. So if you want both, you best option is to order it with the low-profile clamps, then add a RAM ball individually. As for compatibility, the Perfect Squeeze has the AMPS mounting pattern on the back, so any AMPS ram ball will work, including both the 4-hole and the two hole. The AMPS pattern isn't RAM specific, in fact a lot of Garmin stuff uses the same pattern. Here's a link to the catalog with all the Perfect Squeeze parts.

You should add to your store the ram ball that will screw into your top clamp

Feel like that would be another good option for moto folks looking to mount up your kit
