didn't want to clutter Bruce's walk in the uniform park thread but it's proving useful for ideas.

I'm just starting to cast around for a modern helmet that won't look out of place for being out and about on the 75/5.

Saw deus here in town had a bell bullit that looked almost suitable.

Any thoughts on what's out there?

Have you tried looking a web sites in London? I picked up a Belstaff Trialmaster 500 in blue a few years back. I think it was on Fulham Rd. They had a heap of "modern" retro gear.
It was well before the hipster era too.

    edit
It was Urban Rider on New Kings Rd

Might be a place to start.

Do you want full face or open face? Davida do some good classic stuff and fighter goggles....
How about a nice perforated 3/4 length leather jacket?
Let me know if you find one, been looking for ages...

With the advances in feminine hygiene products you don't need to wear different riding gear just because you have your period...

The days of leaving the party with your sweater tied around your waist because of embarrassing mishaps are long gone...

Or at least that's what the adds during the netball are telling me.

Yeah well, when you've got a $10 (or, in this case, an $80) head...

    Eh Mick :ksteve

Elderly r riders... don't even know if I'll ride it the way r prices are going.

Actually that worries me, cheap boats are asking $$$$ and old bits of German rust porsches etc seem to be heading the same way. Reminds me of gfc days.

    James,

I saw this WWII vintage R75 at the Imperial War Musuem, which I think would suit you to a tee.
What really impressed me about this bike is that the sidecar wheel is also driven, so a true off road hack

.....I think I might have owned that bike.......the later model with telescopic forks (they still worked like struts).
