Grab anything to eat? Their loaded fries are to die for; Bon Chon of the day is usually pretty rad too.

I didn't know. And I was getting calls from work that needed me to return to home base. Next time!

Nope. Unfortunately, it was closed. But I had a lot of fun on the run to the new tag. Forgot how much fun Kelly Drive can be when there isn't any traffic on it. Some neat sweapy turns! Also, didn't see any police officers!
Beautiful day for a ride. 58 degrees, no traffic, and got to feel some of the energy from the stadium. Waited a lifetime for a Super Bowl victory. Priceless!

Since some of us aren't locals, hint is needed, unless Jeff is going to move it instead of just talking about it!:-)

Thanks! Was a little confusing at 1st, since that map is upside down. But once figured out, not hard to find.
Looks like that is mountain bike heaven just up the trail a little. Jeff, you sneak the Hp2 up there?:-)

That road has been a close kept secret since we "discovered": it in my buddy's Pinto in 1976.

I think the last time I rode it was when I dropped tag number 101 just a few blocks away.

A friend I used to ride mountain bikes with showed me that road as a shortcut to and from his house. Was a real bitch on the fixie.

I blew a tranny in one of my FJ40s going down that road. The truck popped out of gear and into another, and then in to reverse. It made a gut wrenching sound and then jammed in reverse. I backed it up to a friends house and got it towed out of there. Ended up having a spare at home, but since it was winter and I didn't have a garage I had a local shop repair it.

    I miss that old FJ!

    ahhhhhh memories!

So... April 26th is a long ways out but anyone interested in joining me on riding the MABDR down to the horizons unlimited conference? It's looking like the girlfriend might bail on me for this one (work)

You sure about those dates? I found this:
    http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/events/humm-appalachians-2018

Is that the event you are talking about? Sounds pretty neat, actually. They have a big bike, twin, GPS navigated category that sounds interesting.

But that one is in September....
