Photo Game Southwest (AZ/NM/SoCal/SoNev)...Where is this?

    It is not Silver Peak. Silver Peak is to the south west of this about a couple of miles. I think the mountain in the picture is Limestone Hill. The picture was taken looking northwest where Cave Creek crosses Foothills Road. Foothills road runs from Portal Rd north to San Simon. Mntdawg it is your turn.

    I don’t know that area well but it looks to me like it could be the Salt River.

    It is the Colorado, but quite some distance from the Nev. border.

    This remote 'overlook' is one of a few places you can drive below the Rim.

    Looking up stream from the same spot. obviously GC, name the overlook.

    Mntdawg is correct it is fr42 in the Chiricahua Mountains, but then I figured he would get it. He seems to have a photographic memory for the lay of the land. If he looks the picture over real closely he could probably pinpoint the turn in the road.

    This game should evolve into who can stump Mntdawg
