Have you found the perfect rig, but the previous owner decided on some "custom" paint? Post em here!

Rules: Please try to post a photo of something with 3 wheels and an audacious paint job in your response.

I never understood why someone would want to make a vehicle look like a recruiting poster, or cover of a romance novel

For attention that they crave and otherwise wouldn't get, even with a sidecar.

It is the sidecar from the original Mad Max movie. @3legs is making a recreation of it (having previously owned and restored the original) in a thread in Some Assembly Required, it has just gone off to the painter for the appropriate airbrushing.

I'm not one to cast stones given that I have a 14 inch tall joke decal on the nose of the tub, but the upshot of decals is they come off.

Well, the subjects and styles of the various artwork are not my thing, but some pretty damn good craftwork nevertheless.

Growing up in Southern California, the home of low riders, I've seen my share of air brush paint jobs. While I can appreciate the talent to do such art work, it's not something I like at all. low rider.2.jpg

I had a neighbor that had a clapped out BMW. He figured by painting wolf images on the saddle bags, gas tank and fairing, he made it worth thousands more. I told him he would be wasting his money but went ahead anyway. As far as I know, nobody ever even came to look at it.

I agree with High Octane, "Pretty much sums up my thoughts on tattoos too."

Tattoos air brushing and nose rings.
Did I tell about the time I put a ring in a sow's nose as a barely teenager?
