The Phoenix crew did a day trip up to Flagstaff for some cooler temps and even cooler single track. Like 90 degrees when we left Phoenix at 6:00 am, 65 degrees when we arrived in Flagstaff.

Lots of video being shot today.

    OK, I guess there's more...

This was my first small bike ride in Flagstaff. The landscape was completely unexpected.

Robert was having some clutch issues.

It's ok, he brought a spare.

Jeff's Beta broke the rubber band that holds the battery in place. We fixed it up with some wire ties.

Still looks dry & dusty. Maybe we'll get some rain in August?

    Keep the pictures coming.

Nice! I lived in Flag for five years but wasn't in to moto back then.

Who carries spare clutch plates? Wow.

You can't see it in the picture, but there's a deer behind the spade shaped tree in the back.

    Great views!

Jeff had sprung a small coolant leak on the Beta. A quick turn of the screwdriver fixed the problem.

This wasn't the first log crossing of the day, but it was the largest.

    Tight and rocky.

We liked the tree so much, we doubled back and crossed it in the other direction.

Had my crash for the day. Long fall onto a pile of rocks in a steep off camber section. Jeff came to my rescue.

We finished the ride on some easy jeep roads. Robert, Jeff, and I stopped at Roma's for some grub.

The pizza got eaten before I could get a shot off!

    Jeff loves the breadsticks!

Awesome ride, just under 40 miles.
