OK, we didn't get snowed on, but it did snow on the San Francisco peaks while it was pouring down raining on us below.

Fortunately, the day started overcast, but dry.

We set out on the Wing Mountain Loop. F-Pilot was kind enough to lead the way.

Started out as a great day to ride, cool air and moist dirt!!
Then it started raining and the trails got muddy, then it quit raining and the trails turned into a slimey mess.
It was freezing cold riding the jeep road back in wet gear but it sure felt good for a change!
62 degrees when we left Flag, 104 degrees when we got home, ugh!!!
Nice meeting all of you. Anyone up for the Airport loop next weekend?

Brad and Javalina were Kings of the Hill.

    The Hill.

B-K and I tried the Hill and failed. The rest of the crew waited patiently for us to return.

Here's the Wing Mountain Loop video. The Hill starts around the 5 minute mark.

But wait! What of all this talk of rain? Well, after completing the Wing Mountain loop, we ventured out under threatening skies for some more trail.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the wing mtn ride that was a blast! I want a 2nd home in Flagstaff, ride in the summer and ski in the winter. We must get back there very soon, and Terry "Bravo" on the ride report, allways classic. Allyn was even on time for this ride and it was good to see K-Phil. Thanks again to all the riders for making my weekend awesome! And the Cinders on Friday was "insane" if you want a thrill paddle up and hold it open. Ride On! Phil

    Great ride report as usual!
Always enjoy the photos and videos even if I wasn't on the ride.
I hope the monsoon rains keep up all week and stop for next weekend.
Still thinking about riding the Airport Loop next Sat. if anyone wants to join us.
