My BFF Javalina invited me to ride dirt bikes with him yesterday. How could I refuse??

We headed out to Granite Mountain to ride some SMOKING single track!

A quick repair from the last ride. I got to ride the CRF450R all day. It was INCREDIBLE!!

I had my camera stashed in my Camelback, so I didn't get too many photos. Too much fun riding to stop.

It looked worse than it was.

This was much worse than it looked.

Is that area open again? I thought they shut it down. That was one of my favorite places to ride!

Maybe that explains why there was no one else out there.

No gates, no keep out signs.

All the trails we ran were marked for motorcycle use only!

    It was awesome!

Yes, the area is closed thanks to the Dust Violations by the EPA. AZ State Land is so straped for money that the can't even afford to change the signage.

Read the bottom of This and follow the links for an explaination.

Enforcement has been weak, mostly Scottsdale PD chasing the ATVers that camp out under the powerlines. It's sad it came to this, but it's nice not to ride with the yahoo crowd.
