On the way back home, on 37A near Stewart, BC I had a very close encounter with Winnie the Pooh (RIP)

The main impact was taken by a ... frame slider and the rest by my leg and a side case. I am 100% okay.

Damn! You hit a yogi and lived to tell? Or was it already a road kill when you hit it? You're lucky either way for sure......

Yes. Technically I knocked it out, than after 30 minutes Yogi slowly got up and the officer put it down (injured ones are a danger for everything).

I have that piece on the tape and will post once I am home

Damn man this is insane, congrats on the trip, looking forward to more.

I had a near miss with a black bear, also near Stewart (coming back from Hyder) ALSO on an R6 some six years ago - GLAD you're OK. Enjoy the trip.

So I am back home. Fortunately, wear on my rear TKC70 miraculously slowed down for last 2000 miles and instead thread disappearing, the width of a flat spot was getting wider and wider :-). And this is my fav shot DSC00933.JPG
