NS, them are some cool pictures that you took on the ride. It looks like the temps were somewhat mild with the cloud cover that we had last night.

Great Pics NS ! Thanks for coming out for my first (Intentional ) night ride in years. It was truly EPIC.

NS had this awesome flashlight mounted to his helmet that was SUPER bright. Riding next to DOD gave me an a good idea of what a REAL headlight can do ! I am definately going to invest in some additional lights, especiially on the new CW720L . A nice side mount spot and flood light would really do the trick.
We also discovered that our lights need to be of the same "color" spectrum. My helmet light was very helpful, but it burns a different color then the headlight, which is distracting at times.

Its 8:20, time to get ready for some 4th of july singletrack. :evil

Thanks again for all who came out to ride last night. I had a blast ! :clap Riding at night brought back some very good memories of the old days. Ya know, when I was young. :huh

Very nice pics Nightstalker! I figured your RR would include 2 pages of headlight photos, but you made it work.:clap

Thx for putting this ride together TC, I had a blast.

Very different riding blind in the dark. Stock headlights, even with PIAA Extreme White!!!!! bulbs should be reserved for those times you just plain run out of daylight.

I used to love night riding single track in my mountain biking days. Everything was intensified and even mellow trails seemed extreme... plus you always had the place to yourself.
    Thanks for sharing! :clap

The pics look great. The ride was low dust for me as I jumped out in front until Bloody Basin rd and then rode Nightstalkers rear wheel from Sheeps Bridge back to the trucks. Had a blast thanks for putting together the ride Todd. Great company, fun riding means good times. Cheers

Cool pics! I think the place to spend light money is on something helmet mounted. The trail tech halogen worked great in the straights but left me blind in the turns. This is based on my one night ride.

Completely different riding experience. Can't wait to go again.

so, your light is mounted to a faring that doesn't turn with your bars, right? do you think a fork mounted light would work, or do you feel you need the light further into the turn?
i'm asking because lighting is one of the next things for the crf.

Like a cyclops. Used these for night sledding... Great for when your headlight is pointed at the moon during a hill climb.

The trail tech is mounted to the triple clamps so it turns with the bars but you need to look farther into the turn. A set of floods or a brighter helmet light would have helped.

Great pics. I would've never expected to see good shots at night (never mind being able to see where you were going). Hey just curious, what are you using to get that profile graph?
