Phoenix annual Thanksgiving Coke Ovens ride was today, and AWESOME!!

Turn out was below average today, however, rider ability was above average!

I think it was 16 bikes and 1 RZR total, well, and one bike that didn't make it off the trailer...Strappyman was today's first victim.

Cracked straight though, both sides. I know where he rode last weekend, which explains the cracked wheel.

Missing 2 at the Ajax Mine.

A search party went out and returned with the missing two riders. The rest of us kept busy.

    Even made a new friend!

And we lost one to clutch failure :(

The YZ125 was having some gear shifting problems. Who needs first gear on a 125 anyway?

    Not exactly slickrock.

The Coke Ovens were terribly busy on this day! Jeeps, ATV's, dirtbikes, and HORSES! Not really the best mix. We high tailed it out of there!

The caretakers cottage, more vandalized every visit :(

You can't see it well in this picture, but HTM just had a pretty bad get off.

Didn't get many pictures on the super bonus loop. We were either flying or holding on for dear life.

    A short recess.

And then came the crazy steep, crazy rocky, crazy washed out hills, up and down and up, to return to BattleAx road.
