You guys are very lucky! Every time I visit and drive along the Malahat I envy the bikers who are on it..
Rocket Mountain House, Alberta, I think...(can someone confirm that for me thanks) All I remember is that I was frozen and needed something hot; and Prince Rupert BC. It was also raining on that day but warmer .
Yes it is! My riding buddy always take it on his trip. Those pics are from my last summer trip: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=711201
here is mine. #rd week of January 2008. Goose Bay at -53C. I had now done the most North Eastern Timmies as well as the most North western.. I did not even turn her off. I was warming off to a nice large decaf double. Can't be a Canadian Rider and not stop at Timmies
Now that's truly a Canadian moment! Fantastic picture... What kind of tires were you using on that ice?
Thanks TKC 80's.. for winter riding nothing beats them.. I clocked over 30,000 clicks on these babies in winter.
Could be...here's my pic from the Rocky Mountain House Timmies... And after the others showed up, we continued the ride... The two bikes in the center (my MT-01 & the GS500F) both crashed this past season...the GS500F was written off, my bike is waiting for parts to come in. But all great rides start at Timmies...and yes, lonesoldier84, you missed out on a great ride!! Later.
