Anyone know what the recessed circle in the tank is? Pump?
..... its not April 1 already is it?
Probably to take a quickfill connection.
I'm thinking it's just so you can see the fuel sloshing around in the tank. A bit like the clear bevel covers on Ducati's, a gimmick.
Hmm, I couldn't tell if the round part was see through. Why recess it? Less fuel capacity, no?
On the side? (What do I know ... never seen a quick fill connection.)
Fast filler, Kawasaki used them as well.
Actually, looking at the photo it looks like the tank and roller door reflecting off aluminium so Steve is probably right that it is a quick filler.
Probably a blanking plate for one.
