A pirate bike in Taswegia Arrrrrrrrr
Noice ride to work tday. This is one sick puppy…
Last night I watched a video comparison of 2021 1L+ naked's, BMW 1000R, Tuono, Super Duke, Ducati V4 and Triumph 1200 triple, they reckoned that the BMW 1000R was the cheapest by far and has no soul, best bike to live with, need to be reved very high to get something out of it.
In the world of naked bikes it's not what's most sensible and docile, I don't think is why most will buy one.
Best was the Tuono for a few years running, since the second generation like the one @rossguzzi has, the '21 is a really nice looking bike along side the Ducati.
Nothing sounds better than a Tuono V4
Of the current naked bikes. The Aprilia would my pick.
I much prefer the symmetrical (dare I say Panigale style?) front treatment.
If you get a chance to ride one out of the city, you may be converted.

But not this one
Remember once discussing Super Duke GT that I bought earlier this year and you suggested the Tuono but I said I thought about it but it was really a super naked was after something a bit more for touring?
Well now there is this from Aprillia for 2021, I suppose to go head to head with the SD GT
2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 (Tarmac Grey).Aprilia
Yes, I went and had a look at one yesterday. The seating position is identical to mine because I lifted my bars 20mm. The added screen height could be good for touring. Extra seat width for the passenger a bonus.
But the bonus about the ape is you dont have to pay extra to get things like quick shift activated. It`s all there in the initial price. I have 2 mates with SD`s and they feel a bit miffed with that point. Also no auto blip down shift. That is a thing that I love about the ape.
But both are darn mental bikes !
Hmmm, the R90/6 looks vaguely familiar.
The R18, I struggled to get the bike off the side stand. Let alone ride it.
Each cylinder the same capacity as the entire engine on the lovely white bike in the top photo.....
I use to own the R90/6. The BM was the last of airhead l restored.
Beautiful bike the R 90/6
I've had a 2016 model, done +60k km's on it.
Very capable, reliable..and boring. I couldn't see the point of doing a track day on it.
I really like the 916 with the rectangular headlight said no one ever, after the saw the Mito version.
Mamma mia, Moto Morini!
Well look what the cat dragged in….
Cat or Mazda/Ford?
