I was out in Wharton today and water is much better. Still some areas that are flooded across roadway but some good roads also.

Let me know. First time in woods after 20 years, so consider me a noob at this point. I am in Pine Beach. Still have deathwing tires on the bike, etc.

I was riding south of Atsion yesterday. Basically the puddles I hit a couple weeks back were still there. We are going to need a drought to dry things up. Sand wasn't bad at least where I was.

When you say puddles, do you mean like jeep swallowing 40 foot long puddles?

Well I got through them on my KLR and I'm a noob with less aggressive tires and I was solo. I stayed on the edge with one foot ready to reach out to shore. A few were deepish (my opinion) 8-12 inches deep in spots. Again this is west/south side of 206 riding from Atco raceway to Atsion campground, don't know east/north sides conditions.

Pretty nice out there today. Went in at Atco and road out to Atison Station then East some more.
A bunch of puddles and turn arounds..too cold to be too adventurous when flying solo. IMG_7775.jpg IMG_7772.jpg

Ttotallpines. Surprised we did not run into you. We entered at Raritan in Atco over to Hampton. Made it over through Penn State and back. Was able to navigate all but one water crossing. I think the water situation has improved drastically.

Played around up in Manchester on fire roads. Trailwings were the big pucker factor. Felt like I was 7 years old standing on the high dive board heading into deep puddles with those tires. Didn't intend to go offroad so I filled my road boots with cedar water lol. Felt good getting off road for the first time in 20 years.

I don't know how many times I have to say this.

Guys: Pictures of motorcycles in wetlands and water do not help us.
I know the picture above was taken on a legal road.
But they are taken out of context by the PPA and other groups and used against us.

I saw another post last week with an image from a GPS showing Mile's Per Hour where the guy was speeding.

    Just sayin.

Sorry, I am new to the site. Just getting into off-road riding for the first time in 20 years. I was on a legal fire road that is shown on the State website as legal to registered and insured vehicles. It was not a wetland, it was a puddle in a fire Road. I will be more careful in the future now that I know that the pictures can be taken unfairly out of context. Keith

I believe he meant and did remove the pictures per your recommendation. I was tempted earlier as well but in the back of my mind was your earlier post warnings.

Yes, I removed them because of what Jack mentioned. I dont want any of us to have trouble due to my exuberance. I do appreciate the heads-up, sincerely.

@NJ-Bill - this is your thread, get one of your students to write a script that will do image processing to identify if it contains water, ask advrider.com to hook it with the image upload and block the upload if needed.
The future is in automation!! and it will give Jack more time to plan the next adventure for us.
