Couldn't pass up an opportunity to ride around the 100 acre wood with comfortable low humidity.
Saw some interesting things while out:
Got to see a basqule bridge actually open!

Saw what I think might be a bald eagle near the Batso fire tower:

Yeah, thanks. I already checked with my resident wild life management team, and they confirmed it was just a buzzard. Almost got me, though, as it swooped across the street right in front of me!

Forgot to mention that Hot Diggidy in Chatsworth was open yesterday, and Robyn, the owner said she will keep it open everyday next week, and then every weekend as long as the traffic in the area continues to support the business. Had a jalapeno and cheddar dog, and it was YUMMMM!

Hey Doc, that's great. I finally got my 2012 KLX going (with the 351 engine) and now that the weather is cooling down, I hope to join you on some of your rides. I am also considering an adventure bike and since I am so "old school", I have decided on the Guzzi V85TT. It's been a few years since I rode with you guys (last time I was on a red XR 280 that was legal). I am looking forward to it!

That looks way nicer than the '79 CX500C with a Windjammer fairing I started off on.

What an absolutely glorious day in the 100 acre wood! Perfect temperatures, no dust, plenty of deep sand, and puddles were easy to negotiate.
Did about 130 miles between Hammonton and the Whiting WAWA, back and forth through Wharton and BB.
    Sweet!
Only problem was that I couldn't escape politics! Are there no liberals in Chatsworth?:-)

Wait did I see you taking that pic today as I pulled up to that intersection wearing a yellow/gray Klim while riding a black and red V7 (see below for reference).

The answer to your question might be that those who place graffiti on that trestle bridge are idiots therefore....

    See evidence:

"Trader's get stitches" you can't make this Shit up.

Don't recall seeing that sweet MotoGuzzi. You should have stopped to say hello! And brought some black paint spray to cover that obscene graffiti!:-)

Thinking of getting out this Saturday morning. Will be the first time from the new location in Wall Twp area. Thinking of heading towards Brendan T Byrne and maybe touching the north side of Wharton/Apple Pie Hill or the Bass River areas if anyone would like to join.

On another note, I noticed that on my new path down rt 70 to riding there's Double Trouble and Forked River Mountain. Anyone have experience with those areas? They look small but wouldn't mind checking them out

Forked River Mountain is a nice area. I rode there a few months back. There's a nice view looking east (...I think) over the pines at the top and a fun old winding road to get there.
