Mosites is the new BMW place for the Pitt area. He could try there, too, if he doesn't want to drive all the way up to Tarentum. I've not been yet because I'm still a little mad they bought and quietly closed the Wexford BMW without telling anyone.

This may not be helpful, but I always had my maintenance done at Mathias BMW in New Philadelphia, OH. It is a longer ride, but they always treated me well and were very knowledgeable. It’s a nice ride to New Philadelphia from here (past Raccoon State Park to Ohio route 39, outside of East Liverpool, OH). So I didn’t;t mind doing it.

Last I saw on the forum page of the Four Winds BMW website, Mosites hasn't even started building the new store that will house the BMW brand. Mainly due to the pandemic from what I've read. Personally, I've been meaning to check out the dealer over in New Philadelphia, OH, as I'm west of Pittsburgh myself and it would be closer than either Mosites or Kissel for me.

In my experience the dealer is New Philadelphia, OH (Mathias BMW) has an excellent service department. They know their product very well. I religiously take My GS there and they always do a great job.

The dealerships is small and the people there seem honest. They’ve saved me money on things where others would have had me spending money.

IMHO, they are definitely worth the ride out.

Pretty last minute planning, but the weather changed its mind this weekend and tomorrow looks like it's going to be great; anyone want to go on a ride in the morning?
The plan is to meet at the Sunoco: 3899 Old William Penn Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 at 8:45, sidestands up at 9:00 and hop over to Gascola to tour the "pits."
Expect an impressive variety of terrain; I would say this is not a big-bike friendly ride. I have a tentative route planned, will adjust for bikes, snack breaks. We'll probably get out of the woods around 12-1.

Hope to see some people there! Send me a PM to swap numbers, etc.

Yesterday's ride was great, no one showed up this time so I went even further off the beaten path exploring, basically turning the morning into a brutal hard enduro ride haha.

Atleast I know which areas to avoid in the future. (Unless you enjoy dragging your bike under fallen trees and sketchy hillclimbs.) If the weather holds out next weekend I'll probably head out again. Contact me if interested so we can pick sat/sun.
