Nice @Plawa! Not all that familiar with NM; what part of the state were you riding? Looked like a blast. And had a good, hard laugh at the "f*ck, f*ck, f*ck" part of the vid - riding through swampy bogs is never fun, especially on something like a GS (not that I have any experience...lol).

Looking forward to watching part 2...looks 'fun' :thumb

Woof, hate being forced to backtrack because of snow or road closure - especially after you guys had made it so far. Assuming you'll have another video together for how it turned out?

Beautiful country man, would like to ride that some day...sans the white stuff :lol3

    Nice work @Plawa :thumb

That section was Grants to Sn Ysidro and then north to Coyote.. that last section really wasn't all that traveled, we were getting a little worried about having to backtrack but it turned out OK..

I don't have much more from this trip, day 3 was rather short and uneventful, I'll try and push myself into editing the Moab videos, those should have some fun moments...

It's dark and cold where I am so maybe editing 7 month old videos will help?

My last dirtbike trip in the US was Moab last May and it was definitely a proper sendoff.. starting with 5 Miles of Hell, two more days coming..

How do you even know where the trail is?

It's actually marked pretty well, just follow the white line + of course .gpx.

But how do you follow the line when you knock yourself unconscious after falling to the bottom of the canyon?

I probably wouldn’t consider hiking some of that let alone riding a motorcycle up it. Well done.

You would be actually perfectly fine there on a small bike, some of it looks worse on video than what it actually is... well some of it :)

Oh I'm with you, screw hiking, let the bike do the work :)

GREAT Vid!!! I mountain biked poison spider about 15 years ago. So much of it is impossibly steep and the video doesn't show the dramatic angles. It never does. And those petrified sand dunes, the slick rock, is SO VERY STICKY that if you can keep your bike from flipping, you can crank up or down practically vertical surfaces. Crazy crazy stuff.
Thanks for the vid. Great shooting and editing!

Luckily the drone in the backpack took the brunt of the fall.... and actually survived.

The traction was unbelievable, it's like riding on sandpaper..

3rd and final (like..final..) vid coming up soon

I'll make this public on YT in a couple days but for the 5 of you watching this thread, here's early access to my final day of riding in the US. I don't think I could have asked for a better sendoff..

I wish I would have been able to connect with you on those final days of riding here. Your trip to Moab and mine were only separated by a few days but a world apart riding-wise. There's no way I could have been able to keep up with you guys. Thanks again for the great vids.

As with anything on the internet, you are comparing someone else's (carefully edited) highlights with your own "behind the scenes". I know what you can do and you definitely wouldn't be the weakest link in the group.

Thanks! There will be more videos but right now there's not a lot of riding happening around here..

Btw I've put the electric trials bike up for sale and if all goes well I'll trade it for a 2018 TRS One. It served me well but it's time to take it up a notch and get a bike with a clutch.

I don't know if you ever rode the Highway to Hell out by the Coke Ovens. I didn't even know about this trail until a few weeks ago when the usual suspects were out on a post Coke Ovens run and we decided to take the little 'bonus loop'.

I was thinking about you out there. you would have loved it!
