Just a couple from me on some of the riding Chris and I did.

    Soda Lake.

Soda Lake Road. My personal fav.

At the end some dude come running out flailing his arms and such to wave me down. Turns out it was Bill. Bill busted his bike.

Believe it or not he binned it when his pig stalled on this hill. We helped him load it up on the truck and got out there.

    Pretty sunset.

More dancing. This is Tony and his wife, our wonderful hosts who were very cool and liberal with various libations.

Tony with some evil "apple juice" that helped us all along...

Camp fire after I staggered out of the bar.

Great shot of me before bed.

    The day after.

I took Panoche on the way back after and had a really beautiful ride.

I'd also like to thank everyone for making my last US based ADV event for a few years (unless the contract gig comes through and I can make WARPED).

    PARTY ON!!!!!

LTS, what's funny is that I was able to recognize you coming down the road a half mile away when you rode up to me!! I thought to myself, "self, I;ll be dammed if that's not Sally, shit!!" It sure was nice to see a familiar face after many solo hours. Thanks for your & Chris' help with the bike....I was not looking forward to doing that with only April's help.

Sorry I wasn't able to spend some time with you guys. We'll have to catch up when you're back state-side!!

Nice to see a familiar face.....

It wasn't a big deal at all. It's not like we were gonna just leave him there.

It only cost us and hour and a half, the remainder of our daylight, reasonable temps, Chris' remaining fuel... :lol3

Just kidding, there was no way I was gonna let him load that thing by himself when it was off road and such.

What is the prognosis on the beast anyway?

It got cold on Saturday night a water bottle turned to slush in the tent.[IMG]

Time to head home Sunday from the road out of camp

At this point I think the charcoal canister was flooded, by trying to start it a number of times I must've drained the battery. After being on the charger over night it fired right up. Bob suggested laying it over in the Garage trying to recreate it.
Following advice of others I think I will upgrade to a Yausa battery (I'm on the 2nd factory battery, 1st of which was replaced under warranty).
I have a call in to the stealer to replace the fuel pump (number 2 for me, which went out in Baja) per the current recall notice....I guess in this down economy it takes them more than 2 days to call someone back that has purchased 2 bikes from them!! :huh

I guess there may be some wisdom in why we often trailer bikes to where we ride when out of town!!!

Glad to hear T made it back with no further drama. :clap

He definitely had some good karma goin. To have a guy pull over with an empty trailer to haul him to camp, a battery charger and the willingness to help. Definitely his lucky nite. :bow

Great time Saturday nite, thanks all for the entertainment and fun. Had fun on the Apache Canyon trail and Dick Smith Wilderness area. My camera didn't work in those extreme temps so I don't had any pics.:clap
