That's the way he rolls! I had to let Flash say goodbye to Geslia when we left, of course it was all in German so I did not understand.

Man your bike looked messed up on the trail.....Blood everywhere!

I hope you are healing up ok? And good luck with getting Geslia all put back together!

    Take Care Brother. Be Blessed!!

Sooo, does anybody have an update on Bill? I read elsewhere (I think the Tucson thread) that he had to have surgery on his shoulder blades or some such. How about the KLR? Is it getting fixed or still sitting in a corner of the garage?

Okay, the question still remains, Who will step up and fill Chuck's big shoes??

I love this event, hopefully we can put it together again this year!

I am NOT volenteering though! (don't hate 'cause I can't spell!)

Mongo & I were talking about maybe a toned down version. Chuck did all the work laying out a couple of loops & picking out a campsite. If we rented a porta potty & forget about catered meals it would not take much commitment to make this happen.

Didnt Chuck mention that he planned to eventually carry on the event up in Montana?

Maybe a little appreciative gesture like changing the next pre-fall ride there to something saluting Chucks efforts. Maybe something like: Chuck-A -Palooza , or whatever is posted that sounds best.

Just a thought. I know Chuck put a whole lot into the event, bummer he's gone.

I am in for a scaled down version. I would like to see PorkFest continue. Big-E, why don't you start a new thread to announce the date so we can see what kind of interest there is? As long as we have a route to go on Saturday the we can make this work. I am okay with repeating routes from the previous two years, We can all meet at the camp site and run this Dutch.

Big-E - The previous two years were on the same weekend that the Pintop Fall Festival was held. It might be good to stick with those dates.

The Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce will host our 37th Annual Fall Artisan's Festival, September 29-30, 2012. http://www.pinetoplakesidechamber.com/fall_.asp

I have planned a big ride before, and frankly it was a huge amount of work and I worried and stressed about it for a month. No thank you, I have enough stress here at work.

I am all in for helping, and money for the J-jhon and fire wood, but i don't want to be the boss.

Forplay and I where talking and if we have a jhon and some fire wood, we can make do. Town is only like 4 miles away and they have some good eatin'.

We will do something, just don't know what. Redeyes, I will call you today.
