all in one post...damn that's a marathon read. glad to find this RR. thanks.
Bull, as always a brilliant report with even better pics of parts of the world I am yet to visit, but have now noted! Thanks for taking the time to put it all together for us.
No worries mate! ps must be nice to see your old stomping ground of Menindee has finally got some water flowing again from down the Darling .
Brillant report, the photos and narrative spot on. Took me back to my trips thru that country.. on road bikes but plenty of dirt.
Hope our Internationals read this 'cos you've captured the spirit of this , admittedly small, part of our country especially the rivers
stages which are so life giving in this otherwise parched landscape. Well done and thanks for the ride.
@bull600 lovely pics n interesting writing - thanks!!
No worries guys, glad you liked the report!
Great ride, thanks for sharing it.
Reading from the far side of the world. Well done RR. Much enjoyed the read and photos. Bull, thanks so much. From a much smaller island . Petepilot
No worries PetePilot, glad you enjoyed the read! Would love to visit your island one day, looks like a unique part of the world (albeit a little cold compared to what I'm used to )
September is the best month to ride Prince Edward Island. End of summer. Tourist numbers are low. Temps of 15-28 and a low rain month. Actually I would pick September as the best ride month for Canada. And yes weather wise we do have 6 months of various stages of misery here in Canada.
My wife and I be of with the toy wagon in November for a winter of dirt riding in Baja Mexico, so no more f ing cold miserable winters.
Maybe in a few winters we spend a couple months wandering your island during your summer. Likely would rent weee camper van for that wander. Any way gotta go this retired guy helps his farmer brother part time and here in Canada it’s seeding time for grain , corn and the like. I bounce the large John Deere in the fields, prepping soil for seeders.
Again appreciate your RR
Make sure to touch base before you head "down under" and I'll try and give you some information. Good luck with the seeding!
Another superb RR. Thanks!
Great read and some new places to check out. Thanks
Great report with beautiful country. Thanks for taking the time to do the report. Great bit of ingenuity on the carb.
