    Hi Roel--

I bought my solo saddle and extended rear rack from the Airheads Flra Market years ago. I'm pretty sure it is the standard solo saddle for the bumble bee GS bikes. This isn't my bike but I share this image to illustrate what is probably a stock bumble bee GS with the same solo saddle. I believe this bike is Airhead Pete's.

IMG_1025.JPG IMG_1026.JPG I made a Right turn on this road where I would usually turn Left. A couple of High Budget$$$ horse training ranches up the road and a private airfield.:hmmmmm Must be nice...

My weekly morning commute takes me over the Taos Plateau before dropping into the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. It's a glorious 45 minutes of cool morning air and no traffic. I don't get enough riding in the summertime, it's all work and no play 'till September.

I took this girl out for some Motorcycle therapy after dinner today- it’s is clinically proven that rising motorcycle elevates your mind to a different level - you become hyper-focused and feel sharper/younger/more present.

And, yes, it’s that much better than all /2....

This old girl parked next to my truck at the post office today. I’ve seen him riding around town for years and finally got to express my admiration for his g/s. Nice guy.

Finally yesterday made up my mind to return home ... obligations are pressing on and I hear the sound of bells announcing that my running around will be coming to an end ... as soon as the daily grind catches up with me the main riding will be commuting to work ... :dirtdog
Anyway this morning at 05:00 am I left Prescott; the goals: avoid high heat as much as possible, not getting beat up by the Palm Springs gusty winds and come across downtown LA around noon, that way I could avoid the worst of traffic.
Fortunately for me all worked out my way. Home in one piece! :-)

    Understood.

I've not ridden an airhead on the track, and certainly feel no need to hang off them on public roads. My only track time is on a Ducati 749 with Dunlop Q3+'s on it, so, completely different bike, ergos, etc, and the Q3+'s certainly have the grip to go fast enough in the corners to need to hang off.

Anyone know the story behind this? I'm guessing; salty water + electrics = bad things happen [IMG]

That looks like airhead heaven, but the bikes still break down. Can't be airhead heaven.
