I like the idea of using this as a standard sticker with a new
flag, name, and year for each successive year. This would
add continuity to the rides and might be more attractive to
collect. We could even reissue CJ's sticker if there is demand.

I am drawing a blank, did Shustrik have a sticker?

One idea among many, I hope.

    Hi Lu, and Welcome. :wave

NW stands for Northwest, and PNW is Pacific Northwest, meaning the portion closer to the coast. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Northwest

You will notice that the Regional Forums section here refers to it as Pacific NorthWet, for reasons we hope you don't have to find out first-hand. :lol3

Here is a teaser shot from the Portland area, a few miles upstream form mrazekan's taco stand. :dg

I like that too. It's a good design and as we continue this program a little continuity wouldn't hurt.

+ I still have some stickers left over from my time. If they sell, the money can be used up for this ride :thumb

    Chanderjeet's sticker designs for comment.

Interest will determine if 2007 & 2008 stickers are also offered.

    Prices to be determined.

and i think that the sticker continuation is an excellent idea.

Oh, did I mention debit card? Inmates can use the ever so improved funding method
of PayPaling directly into Lu's debit card. DireWolf is in control of the debit card and
any questions about donations should be directed to him. Hopefully, DireWolf will not
experience any bookkeeping or money transfer difficulties with this new system.

The PayPal account for Lu is: vboost.6000rpm@gmail.com

I like the continuity of Chanderjeet's design - it makes an easily identifiable "brand" to the various trips, and still keeps it individual to the rider.

T-shirts - I'll try to come up with something by tomorrow - maybe redesign Lu's friend's design of his name. :ricky

I agree, the f650gs is great as long as you don't plan on long rides. (I have 3 of them:evil) I could also offer my 98 1100GS but its in MN, hasn't been ridden much this year and might need alittle wrenching. (If I had too, I could ride it out and fly back:wink:) If you go with Ladybug0048's bike I could loan you my corbin, its hard as a rock but way better than stock. IMHO (I do want it back thou) It would be cool if you could meet the "great danes" they should be out west around that timeframe.

In the US. I'm thinking of flying over to meet you and some other moto folks come the end of October but no solid plans yet. This is going to be an exciting time!

I'm thinking of designs for stickers and T-Shirts as well. Hmmmm...

    LuFei,

Ni Hao he Haunying lai dao MeiGuo! (Sorry no PinYin accent marks. . . )

It doesn't look like you'll make it as far "east" as Colorado, but if you do eventually make it as far as Utah, I hope to be able to ride a little west and meet you. I know that area very well, and can provide a bike that will alllow you to ride some dirt roads out there if you would like. I'll be following the post about your trip eagerly.

On my trips to ZhongGuo, many people have helped me to find a motorcycle to ride and have provided me with guaidance and great comraderie. I am happy to be able to spend a few dollars to help you on your tour here.

Good luck and I hope you have a safe ride.

    Cheers,

Dan - I got a notification that you sent a donation (thanks!) but it looks like you got the e-mail address wrong. I tried to accept it, but it doesn't look like it went through. You sent it to vboost6000.rpm instead of vboost.6000rpm - could you follow up on that?

Aside from Dan K., we have -

    Easy-Z

    Dr. Zombo

    Scott C.

    For a total of $120!!!!!

    (Including Dan K's contribution)

    Thanks everybody!

    Shawn,

I just checked PayPal. I see the mistake I made in the email address, but PayPal says the payment was completed. Let me know if it actually did go through or not.

I'm leaving early morning for a 3 day ride, so send me a PM if there's an issue and I'll deal with it when I get back.

    Cheers,

    Dan K.

What ever you decide is great. When you come through Utah let me know, I'd like to ride some miles with you and show you around. I'll make it woth it, in time and destinations. All the highlights and some nooks and crannies (small beautiful places, lesser known).
