Just moved to flagstaff and look forward to riding around Prescott. Will be bugging folks soon about good rides. Guess I picked the wrong time to be looking for group stuff and events...

If there are any Prescott Trail Rider members watching, I am interested in joining the club.
Please send me a PM about who to contact.

I was an active member of the Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders for 14 years (Sound check, SAG, set up, trail maintenance, etc)

    Howdy to all

I am also a Wisconsin transplant that just arrived to Prescott.
I have been lurking on this thread for a while now and am itching to explore the area.

Looks like a person can join the PTR's via their website, so I plan on doing that and heading for their ride in Flagstaff on Saturday.

I have been out once so far around the Barnstar Brewery area and itching for more.

Hope to meet/ride with some of inmates that contribute to this thread.

MMMOTORCYCLE, although I don't know you by screen name I have been a regular of the Wabeno rides, the Bucky, The Kettle Morian and CADVR rally for the past 7 years or so. Small world.

Could I have gone around, sure but if you have any common sense & want to help keep our great trails open then just use your head. To many fires this year have really been a blight in AZ! A few pics. on the way. Perfect weather & about an hour after getting home we got hit with a major thunder & pouring rain storm. Was glad I did not get caught in it!

We got kick out on the rez for the first time north of Joseph City 2 weeks ago. Aaron's girlfriend started to take too many breaks because it was hot and muggy. Between our breaks and riding slow so she can keep up, one native guy in a truck was able to catch up to us and caught us under a tree for some shade, and ask us to leave because of the lockdown and that the area is closed, he was nice though. There was no signs anywhere that say it's closed area, we explained. But it doesn't matter so we turned back and Aaron was upset with his :dirtdoggirlfriend :lol3(kind of). If that wasn't bad enough I had 2 flats on the way back:baldy...When it rains it pours.
