Kick ass report. Memories you will keep forever. Having said that, if you can, keep that bike forever. it's a part of you and what you will become. Even if you decide to change riding styles that will be a piece of memorabilia you can talk about for years to come. Wishing you many many more miles of smiles, and give us more reports when you can.

Great ride report. I live in Athens and I have worked some shutdowns in your plant for a former resident contractor. I'm an offroad guy but this was a great read!

I imagine in the eyes of lots of folks here on the site, your choice of ride is about the worst pick for an adventure bike, yet your adventure is one of the best I've read about.

Adventure bike? Don't need no stinkin adventure bike.

Thanks for putting forth the effort to share your journey with us.

Congrats on a great trip and thanks for the entertainment! Isn't it funny that the road can fill voids in your soul and forge new friendships but there's still no substitute for coming home to that first kiss? Good shit man! :freaky

Wow! I had a coffee-vs-computer incident (my work laptop) this morning so after making a teepee out of it to dry out I had nothing to do but use my personal computer to binge this outstanding story of the road! :lurk Props to you, sir! Excellent ride and a hell of delivery! Hope to see you on the road some time. :-)

Dude... I just lurked this thread and my idea was to post after your arrival... I'm kinda disappointed that I'm posting this soon. But I'm amazed of how many things you done!

Your RR was amazing, and if you ever start a fundraise campaign for a (near) future trip I'll be willing to make a donation as long as you keep posting.

While that is appreciated, I have a pretty decent job and couldn't accept money from folks. I know my generation loves the GoFundMe stuff, but that's not me. I ride as much as possible. Hell I'm doing a 4 day weekend of it starting tomorrow, and I will post more of my adventures small and large. I cut my trip short to 21 days and spent $1,400. That's not a ton of money for such an amazing vacation. My point is, I'd much rather see people donate money to those in need. I don't need much. I am more than blessed.

PS I will be posting in the day trips for the next two events I have planned this year. I hope to do a trip ever better next summer, so stayed tuned! ;)
