    Well I already have everything pulled apart- 5 bolts away from pulling the transmission out, then just all motor/frame bolts and oil lines. Im only 6 hours from them so I can just drive the motor over and Im sure Ill be saving a ton of money too

    if the mechanic works on cars only, the feel of a roller bearing is much different than a plain bearing. put a dial indicator on it. any bluing on it?

    I thought the crank was on needle bearings.. probably showing how ignorant I am lol

    you are right, having more movement than a plain bearg per auto use.

    I really dont know about bluing and dont have a dial indicator but wouldnt trust my measurement anyway haha

    Potential crank problems and already having 60K+ HARD miles on the engine was the ONLY reason I sold my 2004 Buell. It fit me like a glove, and was the best handling production road bike I ever rode.

    The 08 redesigned buell crank sounds like it's very much improved, should be easily 100K mile crank or better
