Please tell me you kept the your GSA!!!
Yes, I kept the GSA
HudMan got him a
You Are Al.
Bought it from a dealership in Salem, OR and will pick it up in early April. I have a friend who has a Ural and I rode it a few times. He rides pretty near year round here, and there are many off road places around here to take it as well. Ural seems to have made great strides in improving the bike. Comes with a three year unlimited miles warranty and they now have EFI, Brembo brakes and several other outsourced components. Firmly caught up to late 20th century technology.
My friend has three years and 18,000 miles on his without a major failure but they are maintenance intensive and require tinkering. It will see mostly local use and the GSA will still serve as the long haul ride. Annie and I are both taking training this Spring and she may get one as well at some point down the road.
I can't wait for the day I can get a URAL!!! Enjoy that sucker!
Hey, reverse & two wheel drive!!! Gotta love that.
And here I thought it was an early April fools joke or god forbid, khuddy had been forced to go to three wheels. Glad to hear the GS is still in the stable. I am looking at the new Honda Cub, brick backup!
I think you might be able to win the "Weenie Bite" all own your own in that Rig. JSNS
I got it because I heard that you may need to be hauled around in your dotage. By the way Katie is a rock star.... gramps.
Has it worked out Bud? Are we greeting you with open Canuck arms again? Sure hope so. I will be seeing her and our newest grandson, Jack, still having a problem with them not calling him Dick!
Got "Mo" out for a little jaunt.
Beautiful day....low 40"s over the pass.
Early start this season.

Hacky has booked in some time with me for a few more lessons to get him up to speed to properly compete in the bike games! Should install some confidence in his fans!
The stars are aligning, coming up the back side this year and should make the club house at the required time for some more of them lessons... see you soon..
I will get the yoga mat out grasshopper!
One day left on my AR-WA-AR trip. Just over 6,000 miles by the time I get home tomorrow.
I left AR solo on 5/29 headed for Marbee’s place in ID via Colorado Springs and Sandy, UT. I got to Marbee’s place on 6/1 and from there we tackled some sections of the Oregon and Washington BDR routes. Good times were had and we ended up in central Washington for my daughter’s wedding on June 8th.
We turned around and headed west to the coast and headed south down the 101 to the redwoods. Marbee’s and I split ways after the redwoods so he could keep his job and I continued in to AZ to meet up with a buddy in Prescott and then to Phoenix to see my Ma.
115° by the Hoover dam really sucked. I did find that a “wet vest” is amazing for hot weather! ($50 at Cycle Gear) not much interesting from Phoenix on, just a lot of slab and semi trucks. Tonight I’m holed up in Amarillo, TX and will make the 7 hr run home in the AM.
Great trip for sure, and the 12GSA has run flawlessly. It might be due for some tires though.
