Looking for intel on Quincy La Porte Rd. I'll be in the area for a few days on my FJR1300 and haven't done the road in a few years. I know it's been closed but passable at times.

The Quincy LaPorte road has been paved , and closed only due to snow , for many years now .
Maybe you are thinking of the Oro-Quincy highway , ( the Bucks Lake road ) . A sink hole developed on that road a couple of winters ago , that dropped the pavement a good 20 feet . It was un-passable until they connected a couple of dirt roads and made a detour . They are working on the sink hole , and have sprinkled a bit of gravel on the detour ; about 4 or 5 miles of dirt .

I rode the Quincy-LaPorte road last week, and it was all open for us...and a great ride!

Just went through there yesterday, still a mess but they are actively working on it now. They are not there on Sundays ( talked to the foreman ) for those who like to skirt around the gates.
