I'm still riding way too tight, MX style, but I'm getting better about looking ahead in the sections and trying to flow through.

I'm a little worried about the transfer sections though, Will it hurt the bike to jump it every chance I get?

    Ben,

It's awesome you and Blake are getting into this sport. It is very addictive! It had completely changed the way I ride dirt bikes now though, but I think for the better. There are many "bad" habits I had to unlearn from many years of single track and dual sport riding in order to learn proper trials riding, but once you get comfortable with them, I think it will help all forms of riding for you! :ricky

    Ouch on that 3rd vid!

Someone need to get Ben on some quickness and agility drills, I didnt even see him put a foot down (nor a hand) in that last video, but it looked like he almost hit his face... you got to get the feet down, save yerself 1st.

looked good until he got top of the rock, then did the "advanced rider's Go for it" which honestly as I watched before he wrecked I had to cringe.

I would really like to see ya put a foot down early, rather than crash. You wil get to when you wont have to put a foot down eventually.

one of the oldest rules of thumb in trials is and was... "One in time, saves Five!" get your self back together with a one, instead of waiting to fall down.

I missed the front brake, no biggie. :lol3

I'm actually O.K. with the crashing at this point because it tells me I'm in a class that will challenge me to get better. :deal

On the second loop I took a silly one right at the beginning, and I cleaned it on the third. w00t.

I cant wait to meet you! I wasn't impuning, I was joking about the agility though. and dont forget my ages old saying, when you are riding...

1 in time saves 5. My only worry was if you get "hurt," and discouraged.

I'll try to remember that one.

I had another section that gave me trouble, on the second loop I had it clean until things went sideways.

I think I was in the same position as your avatar when I hit the ground. :lol3

My scores for sat were 35, 26, 13. I've got a LOT to learn.

Everybody has to learn and it shows you were learning throughout the day. Nice way to bring your score down considerably from start to finish...
