Curious - did they offer a "PD" kit for the paralever R80 GS's? I'm guessing they could be fitted with same parts as the 100 (if desired)?
@globalt38, the R80GSPD was a standard model available in Europe alongside the R100GSPD. They were built from 06/90 to 09/94 but, not surprisingly, they were not very popular and less than 500 of them were made.
I have a PD 80 here in Spain. Not sure if it was originally sold here or imported.
Is that a 130 or 140 section rear tyre @the_babaji ?
I like your pannier securing method. I did the same thing on an R65 I had many years ago.
Cant remember off hand, It's a tkc80 the stock size but its quite wide, had to install a spacer to keep it from rubbing the swingarm
