Paid to travel, next adventure.
Ooooh Yeah...Let's see what these countries have to offer. I'm in!
Definitely great rum, somehow okish beer, very talented girls and Suzuki ax100 two strokes (106,9 km/h max speed).....plus few desperate guys who own guns and machetes
watch out for seizing those two strokes, in the OLD days the dealer would jet them rich so you couldnt seize them. but then it might- count it as would , foul the plug. Ending up going thru a traffic circle in thailand, being towed with your belt.
Carry extra plugs n oil.
Just a quick update from the battlefield......
250 bucks!! sweet. Half the bike paid for!!
What a first day it was....seeing Ed again after a year and something felt like we met a week ago. Crazy I know. And then it all started. From the airport we had to make about 50km long journey to another city called Higuey where my bike was. Originally we were planning going there on one bike while Ed would leave all his stuff at Punta Cana. This scenario would require us to return after purchase of the bike.
At the end, Ed brought his stuff with him as we decided to start riding straight away after I get my bike. The only challenge was to get there. Certainly two grown up men with two sets of camping gear and stuff for 2 weeks cannot travel on small 100cc two stroke that far.
Well under normal circumstances it would be impossible....right?
Well if they can put a rider, 4 kids and a yak on one of those bikes why not?
I'm in, sounds like fun!
Looking forward to this one...
Just in case you are interested we are still alive and we are still riding our brand new KTM and BNW. We just don’t have time or internet to post....stay tuned.
Last week was super intense.we made it into Haiti, we had few very close calls and somehow made it out. Honestly this was experience none of us had before. There are tons of stories that will follow.
If you want to see some quick photos look at Instagram.... Rad_venture and 2balancetheworld. We are trying to post few photos a day, as that’s just easy to do right now.
Just checked out the sweet new BMW and KTM bikes on your instagram... Impressive!
Yeah our front tires are hardly used, these beasts want to wheelie all the time
And they help repel the mosquitoes!
Awesome report - typical for these guys.
I see the link to Ed's facebook page and that is good too.
But how does one find Rad's Instagram ? Is there a link somewhere ?
Hi Rad, Good to see you back on the road. Have fun !
