I must advise all those who come to India to tour Rajsthan on a bike! It is absolutely fantastic and its coming from someone who lives practically next door to this beautiful rustic golden hued state of India sprinkled with forts and palaces in the middle of the Thar Desert.

We did the trip on two Karizmas ( 223 CC, 17 bhp ) in 9 days and 2400kms.

Here are the pictures from our Canon 350Ds ( must see ) :

All pictures in the blog are taken with a Nokia N73.

    hope you like them!

Fantastic! :clap I'm sorry to all other ADVRider folks¬óbut these are hands-down the most exotic and amazing motorcycle touring photos I've ever seen here, PERIOD!

I'm going to start saving $$$ to go to India.

Thats quite an honour. Please note that the images posted in the thread are taken with a mobile phone cam ( N 73 ) while the link posted has the highest quality images from this trip.

I love that "OK Tata, Bye Bye" logo. Where is the "Hypothecated to..."? Lovely pics - that Canon produces superb results. How did you manage to go through Udaipur without a picture of the Lake Palace Hotel? You didn't by any chance happen to have a sponsor for this trip, did you :evil I guess that takes care of the hypothecated part :lol3

Great country, with many wonderful sights. Anyone thinking of doing India on two wheels should be sure to pay up their travel insurance. They play rough over there.

Thanks for showing us your wonderful country.

Fantastic pics.. I'd submit them for Front Page consideration, minus the corporate / commercial endorsements.. if you have any more plain pics without added text, please post! :thumb

Yes, we have got lots and lots of pictures. I hope you have gone through the blog : http://www.xbhp.com/roadtrips/rajasthan07/blog

The pictures in the blog though are taken with a N73. Let me know how to send a picture for the front page. Will be honored to do so.

By the way we also did an all India roadtrip which is mentioned here. We did the trip on some Yaks. :lol3
