Does the tower have the same dimensions as the KTM Rally? How much are you charging for the two side plates and the top one?
Yes its exactly the same as the KTM rally.
Price for the tower is 650 € in any color you like and free shipping in all over the world!
The lights coming sepsrate.
So if the lights are not included, what exactly is?
You can buy the 3 plates for €315 list price incl. 20% VAT original from KTM (usually minus 10-20% discount), so €350-€400 on top seems rather excessive for a couple of spacers and bolts if that's all it is? :huh
Any plans for a Honda XR650R? Without a headlight?
some pics of the universal small fairing ,this one is the prototype i think we have some points to fix on it and make it better.
our prototype fairing with headlight cut for Husaberg FE450
Also we had to make and a small navigation tower .
And finally a small taste of how it looks like ..
The price of this fairing will be 95 euro.
I asked from a friend to borrow me his xr !!
I Think it will take a while but we will do it
By the way whch tank you use on your XR?
I too am intersted in XR Fairing. I have the Clark 4.3. Is the idea to have the fairing mount to the old Radiator shroud locations?
i would use the acerbiz tank as thats a long range tank and would be the tank a 1 would use to suit a rally fairing
the market is large for this bike
Hi there Dimitris - greetings from Vancouver, BC.
So, I have some questions about your fairings ( I have a 2009 KTM Enduro R):
1) Mounting bracket - if I select the option to include the mounting brackets, those appear to bolt onto the frame? That top bracket appears to require drilling into my frame? Sounds worrisome - or am I misinterpreting the picture? And how is a vertical load (up or down) taken up? Since the entire weight of the fairing, bracket, and whatever nav/instruments are mounted - all appear to want to cause that bracket to pivot down, no? Is there a secondary attachment point down further along the frame?
2) Front Tanks. Does this fairing (specifically, the two-round light version shown above - assume a specific tank? For example, can I use it with the Rally Raid Evo 1 tanks? Or the Aqualine Safari tanks? Or no front tanks? Your replica racer photo looks like the stock (no front tanks) ...
3) Lights. What lights are recommended with this setup? Would the lights bolt to the fairing directly, or to a subframe that would in turn attach to the fairing stay/bracket that is supplied?
4) Variants and/or modifications. I like the turned-down lip on the replica racer photo above, whereas the product shots on the perfect-fairings website don't show this. Did that owner modify the top to create that lip? I've never worked with fiberglass - would be scare to stress/break the fairing ...
A question for any of the KTM 690 folks who've gone with this fairing - everyone happy with the brackets? Strong enough? I have to be honest, they look a bit fragile - - please, no offense intended - just an observation, likely an incorrect one - but as I'm finalizing my decision, I'm looking for as many data points as possible ....
KTM KTM 690
Do you sell this kit without the front fender and belly pan? If so how much is it for the fiberglass version?
some new updates for these rally fairings!
Africa Twin 690E
AFRICA TWIN REPLICA !
SUPER TENERE 750 REAL RALLY FAIRING!
Liking the shape of the last one
Thank you for these interest questions!
1.mounting bracket that shown in this pics is only for the fairing which comes for the oem headlight not the 2 spot lights, for the two spot lights the brackets is totally different (i will upload some pics soon)
Also this mounting bracket is designed to keep only the fairing no nav instruments on it..
2.Tanks,we offer different type for front tanks
3.About lights you can choose the best for you, there are two many options
4.we can make the lip as the shown bike if you like without extra cost.
You mean the Super Tenere 750?
I love it from the first ,now we trying to make some new tail fairings with rear tanks..
Very interesting stuff here!
Say, do have any more pics of the 650XChallenge fairing mounted up to a stock bike? The one pic I saw showed the fairing installed alongside a Touratech rallye tank. Mine is stock so far.
Also interested in which lights you would recommend for the fairing - are the two locations made for a 690R like light setup?
Bonus points for pictures of the faring AND the tower mounted up on an stock XChallenge..
do you thinking to extended the offer to KTM 500 EXC 2014 .?
How about Yamaha WR250R?
