Does not work... I only get a straight line. I press command + Click for the first waypoint and then a few km's ahead where I want to add another waypoint (dont know if this is the right term) but I only get a straight red line between both yellow dot.

    What am I doing wrong?

Mike, is there a "minimum speed" for app Reader? In city traffic or on foot the ODO does not seem to record the distance covered...I'm using an old Nexus LG

Just so it's clear, the android app doesn't automatically advance to the next way point? That might be neat because the phone knows where it is and the chart data knows where we're supposed to be.

When I touch the screen I get a sound but only rarely does it actually seem to move the chart, and when it does it isn't really predictable if it is going to go up or down. I'm probably doing it wrong.

It looks like the Bluetooth rally buttons are great, but are there any options for someone who doesn't want to spend nearly $200? There are lots of cheap Bluetooth controls for audio etc, could the app somehow be able to accept that as input?

    Hello

The app does NOT automatically advance the road book. It is up to the user to keep the Roadbook scrolled properly. This is a basic part of roadbook navigation. No cheating :-)

Scroll functions: tap the top half the screen to go up, tap the bottom half the screen to go down. User can also press and hold for continuous scrolling

As for Bluetooth controls, volume up and volume down control the odometer and next track, previous track control the road book scrolling. Any Bluetooth control with these functions should do the trick.

    Hope that helps

As Mike said above, that Vol +/- adjust the ODO, Previous/Next track scroll the roadbook forward and back. This is same set of commands the Blitz Buttons send to the ipad. There are instructions out there on how to program your own boards and plenty of places to source buttons/toggles. You just need to dig a little and follow some links in other threads to find all the info. There is no magic to it all.

I tried the search function, but can't get a clear black or white answer.
If I import a GPX Track, do I only edit the turns, or do I push the dots on the tracks in Google earth?
The GPX track is often far from being 'on the track' and I saw that moving a GPX dot to a track often changes the distance to the next turning a lot, often in the wrong direction.
Instead of adding 10m it deducts 200m ....

Yep I found a bluetooth control and it works just like you said. Thanks that helps!

I haven't tested this on the road yet, but the tulips and information boxes are pretty small on my phone. What if we had a zoomed in mode where we only see one tulip and one info box at a time? In portrait mode you could have them stacked: tulip on top and info box below.

Just wondering if the app will include the ability to show just the ODO? If its either to hard and can't be done no worries.

Haven’t had another request for this feature. It would be odd to have a rally computer with only one instrument displayed. So things will stay the same for now.

No worries. I'll have to sort a bigger phone. Great program still.

I am guessing that you cannot as all the tulips will need to be different. Though you should be able to get the GPX file out of it and I am guessing there is program out there to revert its direction then reimport it in rally navigator and start creating tulips etc.

The doubt is concluded, I confess I had not seen the "Track-Tool" option.
Thanks for the answer and Tomaz Pessanha from F2r

Yep. The issue I think is actually the phones are not that current. The ODO is a iPhone 4S and the other is a basic chinese 5 inch IP68 rated phone. I've no idea if newer units have a better bluetooth connection but I find I have to re pair every time, which may be user error..............

There seems to be a slight lag but nothing I can't live without.

I'm going to eventually jump to a tablet but for now ist working. Thanks for the cool apps.
