What is a Time Speed Distance Rally?
TSD (Time/Speed/Distance) rallying is a safe, enjoyable but exacting motor sport that fully puts to the test your car’s reliability and responsiveness, a driver’s ability and a navigator’s accuracy in interpreting specific route instructions. A rally is a competition in which cars individually leave a starting point at a carefully recorded time, and are instructed to accurately follow a designated route while maintaining specific various rates of speed along this route.
The key to Time Speed Distance rally is the simple equation:
DISTANCE = TIME X SPEED

How to Add Time Speed Distance Functions to a Roadbook

Hi Mike, do you have asplan in near future to update signs and make them in color as per new FIA CCR regulations?
I'm new to Rally navigator soft..
I made a test track on a pc so I can use it on my phone in Rally navigator reader app.
On pc all is OK, but when I opened Roadbook on my phone, I have incorrect KM readings in second tulip!
Distance from first to second tulip is only 0,61km but it shows 22,28km.
Tried it on other phone and got the same problem, but different km readings..
Distace in others tulips seems OK..
Same roadbook on PC
I'm having the same problem, premium user but unable to read or correctly display on the mobile app. Right now have to download to PDF and open under another app like MDR Roadbook Reader.
Anybody have a HIGH RES COLOR copy of the New Dakar Icons in PDF, JPG or PNG format? This copy is a little too fuzzy...
Any help would be great.
Big News! Not really......
Waypoint editor is more vertically compact and easier to use. Check it out.
Old Crappy Design:
Nice, but non-closeable ad kind of defeats the point.
I am making roadbooks for myself and don't need the Pro version, so the constant reminder is useless even for marketing purposes, just annoying.
Hi. working on it.
Banner will go away after user upgrades to premium.
any other feedback?
There are many small bugs in Chrome running in Linux, for example I have never figured out exactly how to control the map rotation - the idea that map should turn itself when editing a tulip is superb, but it does not want to stay that way for long. Moving the mouse or clicking on something tends to turn it back facing north, but not always... It's sometimes confusing. Adding a road to tulip fails about 30% of the time, but I have already developed a way to do it slowly and deliberately, which usually succeeds :)
As small features go, it would be nice to be able to download GPX file and PDF from "My Roadbooks" - it would make downloading them to my tablet much easier (I am using my own roadbook viewer app), because the main edit screen does not work in tablet's browser. Being the klutz I am, GPX is a good thing to have when royally lost :)
It would be super awesome if there was a possibility to use some other map source instead of Google Maps - we have very good local maps available over WMS service, and even OpenStreetMap tends to be more detailed than GMaps. But I understand that this is a big thing to develop.
Generally I am surprised that making training roadbooks solo for myself, without having a friend to pre-ride/check them, actually works - kudos for making it possible at all. Of course it helps to have the memory of a goldfish - I have found out that letting the roadbooks sit for around two weeks before using them makes me forget the route almost completely :)
Thanks for feedback.

glad you’re having fun with roadbooks - good times.
I would like to see a radius bubble around a WPM or similar direction on the map so I can see how far it may be from other parts of the route. This would make it easier to create a route where it would be less likely for the rider to accidentally open a WPM directional finder screen when they were on another section of the route.
Good idea - i will add this to the list.
what is default radius for WPM?? 800m?
