Just something to Point out to all the riders that are coming from the west on two wheels.

In Hasting's you all can hop on the "Heritage Trail" and that is a rail type double track trail all the way to Sharbot lake. Once in Sharbot you head south to DLR, which is about a 20-25 min ride on slab. BUT, you can take cottage gravel roads there too. Like Hitchingbrooke rd. ( which is part of the tech route) :clap ....

Edit, Don't worry about the weather, cause they are never right. If it's a nice day here on Friday, it's going to be nice there on Sat.

A recent surgery will keep me off my bike for the next two weeks (perfect timing), so I will need to live vicariously through the ride reports. :cry

    Please take tonnes of pictures!

    Have fun and ride safe.

Comeon, the tunes are the bomb man. Then again I do have a pretty good solar panel on the back of my head. It did prompt me to start a new station on my music player.

    Go OObah Go.

Ok, ok, not all old music is bad... Sabbath and Zeppelin have never treated me wrong and they both predate me by many years.

Anyone interested in hooking up to try that "Heritage Trail" outside of Trenton? I moved up my departure time from Scarborough (Kennedy @ 401) to 3pm-ish, so I'm estimating ETA in Trenton no later than 5pm. I hope there's a coffee joint and a gas station at exit 525 (Hwy.33).

If anyone is interested in hooking up there, please send me a PM on this board. Thanks!

Nothing on that exit. Go to 526, there's a Timmys right there. Then head north up the road 2 kms, cross over the river, and head up that road (33) to Glen Ross where it crosses the river again (fun little road). After the the bridge, turn left at the stop sign, go 200 meters, then right onto the Heritage trail.

Mike just dropped his truck and trailer here at my place, and is heading up to Wakefield or the night. Then he's coming back to DLR for Friday night.

Anyone want a Harley-worthy trailer? I'm keeping the truck... :evil

Guys I have to bail. My dad went into surgery for a growth/something in his head and didn't do so hot. He's in ICU now. There was some complications due to his hear condition.

Can someone please PM an email address so I can send the Tracks I have? Hope you all have fun, hopefully I can meet some you guys at the next event. I'll be there in spirit, so blame me when there's a flat.:lol3

Mang this sux..... I really hope you guys have a great time. IF, anything changes, I'll be there. But as of right now, I don't want the changes the Dr.'s says are more probable right now...

    Ryan,
Best wishes for DoughyDad's speedy recovery. Having you around is good for him no matter how difficult it may be. Hang in there for Dad.

    Thanks Dave,

He has to get through this to recover. It wasn't supposed to be a big procedure, but his heart isn't taking the stress that the surgery has created. It's a different light to see your old man, the one you always thought of as invincible, so weak and feebled. I think this will be his last surgery unless it's for life or death. I appreciate the well wishes, and I hope you and Julie have an awesome ride. We still gota hook up for a ride this year. It's always a hoot with ya.
