Those are some TERRIFIC pics. Well done!

I really should suck it up and carry my DSLR, although that would be even more things to break when I crash. :shog

What were you shooting with/how did you carry it?

Had a great time. Thanks to Uber and everyone else who set things in motion. Perfect area to ride, and the camping facilities were a bargain. Got the rain out of the way Friday night so the roads and tracks were fantastic on Saturday.

I'm not one to dawdle on the ride so apologies to the crew behind me for not taking enough picture stops. We ended up doing Uber's "long, long, long" or what ever it's called routes.....thanks for that too :thumb

So here's a couple I uploaded this morning.....

Whole Saturday crew (except me) at the first stop...beutiful area...

Here's some faces. Unfortunately it was after minidisco headed home. He did pretty well on that fully loaded GS :thumb

On the way home yesterday, I took the 507 and went down Salmon Lake Road - which is a fantastic cut over to 503, I discovered on my way from the EOAR in May. Finally found a decent puddle to splash through :-)

Great meeting everyone and hope to ride together in the future.

How about BikerBetty with a suicide shift on a DR350, sleeping under garbage bags in a leaky tent, and don't even get me started about chasing the speedy frenchman in the gravel.

    exhausting but exhilarating

Had a great time but I do need to do a little structural repair to the beak on my GS. It appears that rail trail at high speed can weaken (break) some of the tabs that hold things together. That and Ohlin's are far superior on landings than the stock BMW rear shock.

I assume Ubers shade tree mechanics lesson held up. No clutch issues whatsoever.

.... thanks anyway. I wouldn't even take $7500 at this point.

It's simply the best tool for the job.

I was kidding anyway man my next bike will have no other owner and I've put so much time and money into mine I have no choice but to keep it. Not that I would want to get rid of it .....a true biker collects he doesn't trade :p

Hopefully I don't wet my pallet. I haven't done that since I was a wee boy. Besides, I don't like sleeping on rubberized sheets :D

Those pics did whet my palate, however. :lol3 Looking forward to the rest!
