Rear rack - F800GS (Wunderlich)

    Yes, I keep sending Wunderlich of California (formerly a part of BMW Santa Cruz) my money. This is what I got for just under $250. I really like the expandability (10" deep x 16-25" wide) & it will hold up much better than the black painted piece of MDS I had before.

    The rack may not be the most sleek looking thing, but it works quite well after you figure out how to get all the bits & pieces together. A small challenge since the instructions are in german which I never took in high school!

    I'm sure you'll enjoy the rack, it looks quite versatile. I had built one similar for my KLR like this, however it wasn't collapsible.
    I was always worried that if you'd have to bail during a hillclimb, that rack would possibly grab your leg and do some damage. Sure nice to have it collapsible so you can avoid this.

    @ Wund America in CA I was speaking with Mark. They are still getting things sorted out there being in a new facility but he was very helpful & attentive to my requests. BTW, he has an F800GS also in their stable.
